Period 2 first semester Final

1. Number 9 is my favorite because it just looks cool.

2. Photo number 9 is the best in my opinion. It has a cool way of lighting the picture. The off center subject is good and helps with rule of thirds. Same goes for the tree.

3. My bet work might be my pictures i took for fun. They all turned out very nicely. My favorite is the AMC AMX or the pillars to the building.

4. My three rules of composition are cropping, rule of thirds, and background.

7. Benefits of working in a group are that you can help each other, get info, get photos, get tips, and get feedback on your photos.

8. Difficulties of working in a group are everyone has to work together, one person can screw up a whole thing, some one might not like someone in the group, that's about all the difficulties I can think of.

10. I replicated some of Paul Strand's work.He contributed to photography and silent film by taking good pictures. 

11.Dorothea Lange's most popular photo was "Migrant Mother", it was taken in March of 1936.

Album project

We had to replicate an album cover. Our album was the Ramones self titled album.

Masters of photography assignment

For photo 1 I made it black and white like all of Paul Strand's photos. I also cropped it. I got the idea from one of Strand's photos of a car wheel and light.

                                          

For photo 2 all I did was make it black and white and fooled around with the levels a bit. I have been inspired by Stand from his angular shadows. I took that the other way and I am doing curvy objects. 

For photo 3 I made it black and white and moved around the levels. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to. I think the color one is better, but it has to be in black and white.

The picture on the top is Mr.Farley's original picture. The one on the bottom is my edited picture. I fooled around with the colors a bit. I also cropped it for rule of thirds, the stuff in the back, the leaf, and the frog all use about the same amount of space with the background taking up the rest. That also is balancing elements. I cropped it so that's the rule of cropping.
