Masters of photography assignment

For photo 1 I made it black and white like all of Paul Strand's photos. I also cropped it. I got the idea from one of Strand's photos of a car wheel and light.

                                          

For photo 2 all I did was make it black and white and fooled around with the levels a bit. I have been inspired by Stand from his angular shadows. I took that the other way and I am doing curvy objects. 

For photo 3 I made it black and white and moved around the levels. It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to. I think the color one is better, but it has to be in black and white.

The picture on the top is Mr.Farley's original picture. The one on the bottom is my edited picture. I fooled around with the colors a bit. I also cropped it for rule of thirds, the stuff in the back, the leaf, and the frog all use about the same amount of space with the background taking up the rest. That also is balancing elements. I cropped it so that's the rule of cropping.
